The room we stayed, so can't speak for every room, was a deluxe double (I'm sure they call it) is a little tired feeling with rips on seating, and shower/bathroom looking like it'll need an overhaul soon as corrosion is setting in on the door hinges and pipework. "Very good hotel for Mako area. Bit difficult to locate due to street variances, but worth the effort. Friendly reception staff. Offered valet parking which I declined for my rental car. Limited secured parking looked full in AM, but good sized adjacent public parking was available. Room was quiet and above average size with high ceilings and good view of park. Continental breakfast was slightly above average."
