10/10 Excellent

"We had an amazing stay at the Garland! The rooms were really nice and clean, the beds were VERY comfortable and we loved having a patio. The pool area was great and it was so cool that they hosted outdoor movies. The only complaint is that we were facing their event center and the first night we were there, there was a reception and it was pretty loud. We had come back from Universal to nap, before going back out and couldn’t, and the next night was a wedding, and it was also very loud. We loved hearing the music and fun for a while, but the late night partiers kept us up later than we wanted. Very cool that they had the free shuttle to Universal!"

"They were working on the entire landscaping during our stay on May 26 so didn’t get to see the beauty in that. We upgraded our room to have a club room w/ balcony but when we went to the room the balcony only gave you the view of the parking structure. The only good thing out of the stay was the 8th floor club where you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a variety of things to eat and everything was delicious. It saved us a lot of money having to spend around the hotel if your on a budget."

"We stayed 3 days. Not bad if you just need a place to sleep while universal trip. But my room was def not worth what i spent. Starting from the unswept floors. To the broken backboards from the bed. To the person laying in the area of the sliding doors in our room. Definitely wished I would’ve gone with my first option and stayed with family at the hotel over :(. Im happy the staff were great, i was too shy to complain:/."
