"This is a discount hotel and we knew that when we booked it so we tried to set expectations accordingly. We were happy with the hotel overall and would recommend it to friends looking for an affordable stay in Sydney. It is an older hotel and the main reason I gave it a lower score is because our bathroom fan didn’t work, the bathroom smelled musty and the shower curtain definitely needed to be changed. There was no bath mat to use when you got out of the shower so the floor was very wet and we constantly had to put towels down to dry it up. Otherwise the room was pretty quiet, the bed was comfortable, the little balcony was a nice touch and we were able to walk to a lot of places from the hotel. There are a lot of steps and hills around the hotel so I would definitely recommend getting a ride from/to the airport when you arrive and leave with your luggage. The included breakfast honestly made up for the musty smelling bathroom. Not many hotels include breakfast anymore and the one at this location was well executed. They had fruits, eggs, breads, cereals, meats, bean, tomatoes, juices, coffee (even have an espresso machine to make lattes) and they had non-dairy milk options!"
