"This hotel fell far below expectations. There were no basic bathroom amenities in the room — shampoo was only provided if you asked at the front desk, and there was no conditioner. The building has no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs. Only one old‑style key was issued, and if you forget it, you’re locked out with no staff around to help.
When we arrived at 1:30pm, a sign on the door told us to call a local number to check in, which we couldn’t do, so we waited about 15 minutes until someone happened to return. The area felt rundown, with warning signs about robberies and homeless individuals outside. Extra charges were excessive, including a $1,700 fine if steam from the shower triggers the fire alarm and $40 per hour for late checkout. The beds were also extremely soft with no support.
The location is the only positive, but it doesn’t make up for the outdated facilities, lack of service, and overall poor value. I recommend staying elsewhere."
