Great position, in a heart of Manly. Lovely old, but renovated hotel. Some music noise kept us awake for a while, but it's expected for the Friday night. We had a pleasant stay, thank you

Its an old hotel which is being well maintained, opposite South Steyne end of Manly beach. Great location for exploring this district including Shelley Beach, North Head, Fairlight harbour walk.

Don’t stay here at weekend as you’re in for a noisy night. Club music until late or early hours, even if only seven people in the bars. Rooms are decently decorated and priced, but if you’re in the rooms which have a window in bathroom into courtyard, there’s no way to block out changing lights so like a disco in your room all night so bring eye mask and ear plugs. Otherwise, great location

Great location in Manly Beach. Across the street from the beach, and minutes from restaurants and coffee shops. For the price it was a reasonable accommodation.

Good place except for ongoing loud music which went on till early hours of the morning even started again early. It was a Thursday and not the weekend so didn’t expect the noise!

Great shower, always like a hotel with good water pressure and modern fixtures. I would have liked the ability to make a cuppa in the room, it was a tad inconvenient to have to walk to the shared guest kitchen.

I loved the unique way the hotel room was decorated in federation colours. The bathroom modern and very functional with a very deep bath and 2 shower head options. The bed was comfortable, with fresh linen. We felt at home staying here at the Styene. Although the breakfast could be improved on and some of the furniture in the dining area is very worn and cushion need to be replaced .
