"Hotel is pretty but not super clean. When we arrived the girl was out front smoking and was distracted when we checked in. The electrical plates were not screwed into the wall in the room, the bathroom floor was dirty looking, the sheets had black marks all over them and the bfast was a 2/10. We would not stay here again. "

"As always an excellent experience. From welcome to leaving, everyone is so nice. Restaurant food is high level. Give those parmesan chicken wings a try. Wife made me bring her some home because I kept talking about them. Looks like I'll be back soon to get some more. BTW - Leave your bartender, front desk staff and mostly housekeeping a kind gratuity, They all matter and deserve it. 10/10 service from the heart. "

"I thought from reading the previous ratings that this would be a nice place. Boy were we disappointed! They were supposed to have a bar and restaurant. They might have once but not anymore. Rooms were dirty. Nobody was bothering to clean around the baseboards in the bathroom. It’s almost as though they just pushed the dirt to the sides of the room. The breakfast, which was supposed to be included didn’t exist. You could buy a seriously overpriced muffin, dry cereal, etc., but the price was outrageous. The property is being sold so hopefully it will improve, but right now I will avoid it."

"Our stay at the La Quinta in Hayward last night was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was welcoming, and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. It was a convenient and affordable stop, and we got a great night’s sleep. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a reliable place in the area."
