"Staff are lovely and welcoming! Atmosphere is perfect. Rooms are comfortable and clean Only downside Sofa’s in the lobby …. Is the only downside - no support in some of them and it’s a job getting up if elderly as there is no substance to them . Pool is ok sauna is for 1 person at a time . "

"Just had 2 nights stay here. Perfect for what we wanted. Swimming Pool access for kids, free parking for hotel guests, good size room and comfy beds, quiet and in a good location. Its not 5 star and a bit in need of refreshing in certain places but its great value for the price. Very happy with our stay."

"It is not everyday that you come across a hotel like the Queens Hotel. From the minute you walk in you are greeted by the wonderful staff and lovely surroundings. We stayed for three days and wished we could have stayed longer."

"Lovely, modern boutique hotel centrally located. Opted to include breakfast and it did not disappoint. Also some nice touches in the room such as complementary still and flavoured waters in the fridge and a large chocolate bar. Only drawback was the lack of parking. Nearest car park was 15 minutes away and about £40 for 24 hours of parking. The staff were helpful as they have to bring a trolley to the nearest area available to stop the car for loading our luggage. Also, I realized later we were supposed to enjoy the benefits of a VIP upgrade but we never received anything (and I booked two rooms) but I happen to overhear the couple in front of me who were given a free upgrade to a suite - so not sure what happened. Nonetheless it was a very nice hotel and I would stay there again. "
