We loved our stay... the cottage and grounds are absolutely adorable, and the couple who own the property are extremely warm and welcoming to their guests. A fresh loaf of sourdough bread, farm fresh eggs, and more were awaiting us in our romantic, imbeccably furnished cottage. It felt like we were staying in someone's private home rather than a vacation rental. The cottage we were in....the Hollyhock... has two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (with show and a jacuzzi), a comfortable living room and a dine-in kitchen... as well as a washing machine for laundry. The backyard was beautiful, with a barbcue, a back porch, a sloping lawn with chairs, and a nice view. There was even an apple tree brimming with fresh fruit. What more could you ask for?

We stayed in Primrose cottage, an absolute delight. Built to compliment the original Wagner Cottage it was charming from the lovely extras provided to the extremely comfortable brass bed. Everywhere you looked it was obvious that the owners had spent a great deal of time and effort to create a special experience for the traveller. Set in it’s own manicured garden it was like stepping back in time. Farm fresh eggs, freshly baked bread, port, chocolates, ear plugs, mints – so many little special touches. Freshly cut roses, an array of tea options, fresh milk. Robes, slippers, remote control candles, rubber duckies in the bathroom with a separate bath and shower. The owners were friendly, helpful and very obliging and I compliment them on the best accommodation (outside the CBD district) that I have stayed in for a long time.

Visiting Wagners Cottage wasn't just a 2 night stop for us, it was a wonderful experience and introduction to tassie. The property is stunning, private & romantic !! I especially enjoyed wandering through the gardens at checking out the unique plantings and wildlife. Belinda the owner ensured our stay was special with all the little touches like fresh flowers, fresh bread and shortbread...I was so impressed i took to her FB page with photos. After leaving Wagners Cottage we travel tassie and regardless of cost, found no other location as well priced or rich in experience as our stay at Wagners

Amazing

The accommodations were very nice and the grounds around the 3 cottages were beautiful. The smell of the rose gardens and other flowers greeted you every time you stepped outside. Belinda was extremely helpful and thought of all the little things that make a stay memorable.

Set amongst a lovely private garden, the little touches of fresh eggs, home made bread and scones was a delight. Just a short walk to the beach, and we felt very relaxed over the 2 days we stayed. The spa bath was deep and inviting, good way to find calm before going back to work.

Fantastic experience

Amazingly welcome from the hosts. Studio cottage was compact but had everything you needed. Exceptional cleanliness and comfort. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a base in the East Coast/ Freycinet area.

Great escape, Outstanding!

Wagners Cottage was a great escape with a beautiful atmosphere. Quirky, yet sophisticated. Service from the local owners was exceptional, friendly and welcoming, which I cannot fault. I would definitely be back if I return back to Tasmania. Great work!

Belinda was so welcoming, friendly and helpful! The cottage was so cozy & quaint. Great beach to walk to. Really enjoyed Freycinet National Park & the winery’s that Belinda recommended. Wish we had longer

Fresh baked bread on arrival, fresh home made scones on the second day, amazing cottage with every attention to detail and farm fresh eggs.
