Swans Island hotel rooms a the Independent

"This property is absolutely wonderful. It's located in a great location, with the center of Bar Harbor shopping and dining no more than an easy 10 minute talk. They have modern up to date rooms. Nice breakfast which offers 2 different made to order options each day, with regular continental fare included. My only issue was 2 very noisy young girls, which were running around on our floor and slamming the stairway door for what seemed like hours on end. We were in town for a wedding. Although bothersome we just caulked it up to some entitled person's bad parenting skills."
