"You can take the train right to this property. Short walk to train station. Liked that it had a separate sleeping area and a living room."

"This is an outstanding, classic and very elegant old school hotel in the center of downtown. It reminded us of the Plaza in NYC. Much is easily accessible, including Gastown and the waterfront. If you travel light and have a cruise booked, you can even easily walk to the docks and check in to your ship, though cabs are abundant. We booked a suite and were given a room that was impeccably appointed, not to mention spacious, with a huge walk-in closet and windows with multiple views of the city - one of the best rooms we've ever had. As for the staff, we've rarely encountered greater courtesy and professionalism. This is truly a 5 star hotel without pretentiousness. We couldn't recommend this hotel more highly. "

"Great place to stay for pre-cruise. We had a harbor view room and could watch sea planes, boats and ships go by. The room was very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was very good. Would definitely stay here again. "
