Overall still excellent experience & services with free Hot Breakfast, ocean view, close to central city. Recommended to others. I understand place/room need to be upgraded.

Not good place anymore

I arrived checkin was good friendly staff. I got to the room was expecting a balcony like in the pic but no balcony. TV remote wouldnt turn on TV. TV chanels were terrible and you couldnt watch them anyway all snowy and fuzzy i couldnt watch TV. Wifi was so bad i ended up useing load on my phone. They seem to be having a fight with Expedia and they asked me to talk to Expedia i said its your problem and they said Expidea gave them my creditcard number im pretty angry for that because Expedia charged me for the room why give the hotel my card number. I had to end up calling Expedia in the US so i wouldnt get double charged. The room wasnt really clean my wife wasnt happy at all i will try to upload pics. The breakfast was terrific i stayed here about 6 years ago was a lot better back then i dont recommend this hotel

Best value for the money ... amazing ocean view from our room ... the lowest ocean view heat large room ever for me anywhere in the world ! The restaurant is great and staff are extremely helpful and polite... loved my stay there !

Excellent location with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. Absolutely gorgeous. Have never had ocean view large suit with glass everywhere like this for such an amazing price. You will not get a motel 6 in USA with this price !! Best deal for the money. As an international traveler who travels almost 100k miles per year and stays in more than 15 different t hotels per year, this hotel is one of the best VALUE for the money. I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff are very pleasant and happy which makes your stay enjoyable! Has a bar and brilliant cafe within metres of the motel which are second to none and a fantastic seafood restaurant called hardware 100metres away which is also great!

The room was excellent and right near the coast although beaches are a bit further out. On-sight restaurants and coffee-shops really near as are locl amenities. Nice buffet breakfast with friendly staff who were always happy to help

I really liked the Deluxe sea view balcony suite. The complimentary daily, breakfast buffet was awesome; it has eggs and omelettes made to order, lots of fruit and salad... and plenty of rice, and generally 4 or more dishes like meatballs, dried fish, noodles, pancit, adobo, and a soup. The best part is it is all you can eat. The Tavern has a great live band in the downstairs bar area every night with great service. I can’t wait to go back. The only thing I didn’t like was there is no pool on the property, but that’s ok, because there are plenty of charter boats across the street to rent and go island hoping. Hotel Tavern was a great experience.
