"Beautiful building and very helpful reception staff, spa was a little tired with a broken steam room and very tired shower area but pool a good size and pleasantly warm ! Grounds need a little TLC but could be absolutely stunning. Only down side was that it was a 10 minute taxi ride into La Rochelle and both taxi's and Ubers were hard to come by due to the Boat Show !"

"The hosts were very flexible and helpful. We had a family room with two double beds (separate mattresses with automatic adjustments) and a sofa bed. There was a wall mounted TV and a fridge (hidden away in a closet). The bathroom was excellent, with a large walk-in shower with rain and flexible options. "When we arrived at 5.00pm on Sunday afternoon the hotel was deserted. Automatic check-in machine! If someone had been at reception we would have asked to change our room,particularly as the place appeared practically empty, because our shower head bracket was broken so had to be hand held for the entire stay. Also being sited on the 2nd floor was difficult for us as we are both over 70 and have both had hip surgery. We enjoyed our continental breakfast each day and our swim in the nice private...
