"This was my second stay. The location is terrific and pedestrian friendly - short walks to beach, restaurants, fun bars, the historic water tower. A friendly and helpful staff. Free covered parking.
Not disabled-friendly: no elevators and all rooms are on second and third floors with steep stairwells. Basic and not fancy - no pool, breakfast or other amenities. Right on PCH, so rooms on that side exposed to traffic noise. But a good value for the location and price. I am likely to return. "
"Property was in a great location, minutes from the cutest downtown area and beach/pier. The property was clean and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast options were different each day and the variety was impressive. We also loved the pool and jacuzzi; the towel service was a plus! We will definitely be returning."
"Do not judge a book by its cover, or in this case the hotel by the outside. Yes it looks less then ideal on the outside, but the rooms are CLEAN, everything WORKS in the room, including the AC, and the beds are SUPER COMFY.
More importantly we felt safe in the hotel and within the area, there is gas station just across the street, and best of all there is a In-n-Out practically in the parking lot.
Only gripe we had is the showers are funny, but certainly not a deal breaker, and that could have just been unique to our room.
