relaxing week

Convienyence to the beach. We didn't get in thevar once during the whole week. The beach is at the end of the street as is good coffee. We don't have young children, so it was an easy stroll to cotton tree park , ocean st (foodie strip) and to sunshine plaza. Only down aide was no view od the beach/ocean from the room, although there is from the roof top, so book the top floor if you want to srand and stare at the ocean This is a walk up set of units, with on site managers, who are warm and friendly, and knowledgeable about eating out in that area.

Paradise in Maroochydore

Really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. Booked for 8 nights and then extended my stay. Great value apartment that was full-furnished and self contained. Had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, laundry and a nice balcony overlooking the garden. Each apartment also had its own lock-up garage and there was off-street parking available as well as a pool, barbeque facilities and free wifi. The hosts were friendly and assisted with my questions. The best thing about this apartment is its location - just a 2 minute walk from a patrolled beach, a funky cafe and a surf club that serves great lunches and dinners. Within walking distance to many shops and restaurants, the local library, the local swimming pool, a bowls club, bus stop out the front and the local tourist information centre. Great value for money and would stay here again in a heart beat.

Misleading, smelly and awful.

Room 13 should tell you everything you need to know. It was AWFUL. There were stains on the carpets, the room was last decorated in 1971 or so it looked and the smell just hit you when the door to the room opened. I looked on the website and the pictures made the place look nice but it wasn't it was awful. There were no pictures of the room we had booked on the website, I wonder why !!! Very misleading. We had to pay for our room on arrival so we paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1. I'm not sure what the other rooms were like but if you get room 13 avoid it.
