Close to amenities and spacious. Unfortunately the huge building construction right next door to our unit was very noisy with grinding machinery being used and a loud radio on for all of Friday and Saturday.

Excellent stay!

Great location 150m from shops, cafes and of course the Noosa River walking / cycling path. Nice quiet location (and complex). Great pool and under cover parking with extra guest spots if you have a boat / trailer with you.

This property is so close to the River front and shops. Just wish there was a convenient store handy. If there was, we didn't see it. Was hoping for a spa, but overall it was a beautiful Apartment.

Lovely apartment. Very clean, nice modern decor and little extras gave it a more homely feel, eg kids books in the 2nd bedroom, loads of crockery not just bare minimum kitchen stock. Excellent location - very close to the river, kids playground, restaurants. Would happily stay here again.

We have stayed at the Cockleshell a number of times in 3 different apartments, each time we have had a fantastic experience. The apartments are spotless and contain everything you need for a short or longer term stay. There are only 10 apartments so it's quiet and never busy round the pool. The only down side is that there is no cover over the top floor balconies, making them unusable if it rains.

Relaxing and easy

Everything about this place was easy- from check in to check out. We didn't meet any staff at all. A simple pick up of a phone with directions of getting into our room. Our room was modern and spacious and beautifully presented. It was also very clean. The pool was a little dirty for a view days. Nothing bad, just from the palms above but this was quickly rectified. Very quiet and so super close to everything. We barely used our car

Was pleasantly surprised by this accommodation.

This place was lovely and was much nicer than we expected. Facilities were excellent with the apartment having all necessary requirements such as washing machine and full kitchen. Was walking distance to restaurants and shops and only a short drive to the main beach. Highly recommend.

Loved the parrots!

I think the experience would vary depending on which apartment you get. My ratings are for apartment 10, which is fabulous. Cockleshells location is great, I've stayed in Noosaville a few times and as a light sleeper I've struggled with traffic noise. Cockleshells is a little way back from the main streets so much quieter but still just around the corner from restaurants etc

Comfortable, great location apartment

Nice and clean 2br apartment, 1 block away from the river/shops and restaurants. Didn't need a car, but had a carpark for easy convenience. The kids loved the pool which we basically had to ourselves for our stay. The only issue was the 3 flights of stairs, would be difficult for anybody that had mobility problems.

It was a lovely apartment and well equipped, nice and quiet but close to the main areas. There are a few stairs to climb so could be difficult for someone with mobility problems.

Comfortable hotel close to the river.

Very obliging when the original booking had to be changed. The staff were very friendly and the stay was very relaxing. The place is with in walking distance to the river and eating places. Less than a ten minute drive to Noosa Heads and the beach.

Cleaner's attitude was the only thing I could have

Everything was amazing. Apart from the fact that we were 15 minutes late checking out (did our own dishes, took the rubbish out etc.) and the cleaner was rude about it.

Large apartment close to the beach.

Stayed in a two brm apartment with two bathrooms. Interior space was large and comfortable. Had a large verandah also. Two day rate was very reasonable. Will definitely stay here again.

Apartment 3 has a lot of mould on ceiling!

Terrible mould! Dont stay in this apartment . Booked through Wotif. Arrived to find what looked like a lovely furnished apartment. Until the smell! The main bedroom ceiling is covered with mould. Its disgusting. Add to a shocking experience was the smoke alarm that went off no less than 4 times during the night from 2am, and the one pin (not 2) hairdryer that cant be plugged in. The caretakers are lovely and the complex great but this apartment lets it all down. The owners of this apartment need to fix the mould properly as paying guests expect better! my rating is "disgusting" not just terrible!
