"Excellent stay"

"We had difficulty getting in touch with the manager to inform them of our late arrival. Several text messages went unanswered. Then a woman answered who said the main manager was unavailable and unreceptive to customer contacts. She told us we had to pay additional fees before giving us the entry code to our cabin. The total amount was twice our initial charge. These charges were not disclosed when we made our reservation initially. The woman also told us that she goes to bed at 8pm, suggesting we'd inconvenience her if we contacted her after that time. Our ETA was to be after 9pm. The cabin was difficult to find in the dark as signage was poor. My husband had to walk around the grounds in the dark before we finally found it. The cabin room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were there less than 24hrs but ended up with a bill twice the amount we anticipated."

"The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The inn was currently under renovation during our stay, so there was some construction noise and inconvenience in the parking lot since many of the spaces near our room where taken by the vehicles of construction workers. Our room had been renovated and was nice overall. It was well laid out and we really liked the low lying motion detection lights near the floor for night time movement. The only thing wrong with the room was the shower. The water pressure was very low and there was nowhere, such as a shelf, to place the soap bar or the shampoo/conditioner bottles other than on the floor. Also, whoever installed the shower failed to remove masking tape around the rim. Definitely not the best craftsmanship I've ever seen. I also was alittle unhappy when I arrived at the inn and discovered it was a motel and not a hotel. The photos I had seen led me to believe it had interior corridors, not exterior ones whereby cars pull up with their engines running and headlights on at night right in front of your door. Overall. Sunrise Inn is a nice property."

"This place never reads the request that we can add while booking.... ie I always want first floor and always put this request in my booking yet every time I stay here they ignore my request. This time was no different the whole place was empty on my arrival and they wouldn't honor my request that I had on my booking... they say I have to call them to book.... they have done this several times to me as spend three nights a month in that town"

"Everything was great! Good breakfast- eggs, sausage, danish, orange juice, coffee. The place looks like it was just remodeled. The staff is very friend. I will stay here again."

"This is just a small hotel & has it s normal noises (coke machine right outside our room..very noisy)..The motel is right on Main street so expect traffic noise...(I would give overall location etc a low 6..) Amenities were pretty good"
