Summer Hill Hotels near Cullowhee

"The breakfast bar was out of a lot of things by 7 am. For a full hotel, there was one waffle maker and we waited for nearly 20 minutes for gravy. No cups out for juice or silverware. The room itself was clean, beds were comfortable and had nice linens. In a quiet area, easily accessible to WCU."

"Smoke detector was disabled. Air conditioner didn’t work well, room too hot."

"The staff were nice but the property needs attention. My bathroom was modish a towel bar, had a sagging shower curtain bar, and had no holder for the shower head - I had to hold it the entire time. There was also no light above the shower, making it very dark. I was only there for one night, or I would have requested another room. Or possibly left altogether. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. I would not stay there again. "

"Was very very disappointed. I had a reservation for Saturday night. I called on Thursday night to cancel due to a family issue that was last minute. I was told they would cancel the reservation but had to charge me the nightly rate because it was too late. I said theres nothing you can do, they told me it was property policy no exceptions. This is the epitome of corporate greed, and shows why the world is in the shape its in. I personally will never stay at another Hampton Inn or Hilton brand hotel ever again. I would rather sleep in my car. The simple fact that they still charged me despite my calling 2 days ahead with a legitimate family issue and them not allowing anything to be done is simply disgusting!!"
