"Excellent second time to the hotel will come for a third time"

"We had the worse experience of any kind . The hotel isn’t luxury . Everything outdated and the service was appalling . We stayed one hour in the property and instantly checked out as it was so bad . We couldn’t see ourselves staying for five nights in a dirty environment and the staff that couldn’t be bothered and everything was an effort . We wrote to the general manager and the hotel office and didn’t even get an acknowledgment or even a reply . We even asked for a manager when we were there and they said there were none . An appalling experience all along "

"Totally enjoyed our stay at the Udaya . The resort is clean, peaceful and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything we had at the restaurant was delicious and especially the morning breakfast there was always a fresh selection of fruits and pastries.W e also took part in the yoga classes held in a beautiful setting, and the nature walk held in the morning. We are very pleased with our experience here at the resort, A special thanks to all the staff . We leave with fond memories of our stay . thank you🙏"

The hospitality here is extraordinary, orchestrated with impeccable grace by Front Office Resort Manager Mr. Gusti, whose leadership clearly sets the tone for a team that communicates with remarkable attentiveness about every guest’s preferences and experiences. Our primary butler Ms. Windy anticipated needs before we voiced them, while Ms. Augustini, our experiences butler, curated every moment with exquisite care and warmth. Their attention to detail is a masterclass in hospitality that many in the industry would do well to study. The highlights were unforgettable; a romantic couples spa, a breathtaking candlelit dinner at the chapel, and a magical birthday evening by the infinity pool where an acoustic group serenaded us with classic love songs. Our travel assistant Nova, on a day tour thoughtfully arranged by Manager Luis, introduced us to temples, a coffee plantation, and a traditional Balinese home, a cultural immersion that enriched the entire stay. If there were ever a place where a husband could earn lifelong brownie points, this is it. My wife declared this her most memorable birthday ever. Quite simply, the best gift a man can give his woman is the Kayon Jungle Resort experience."

"Our stay at The Lokha Ubud Resort & Spa was nothing short of magical. We stayed in a valley view room and waking up to the peaceful sounds of the river flowing below was incredibly serene. The setting is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by lush greenery and nature, it felt like a true escape. The staff were exceptional — warm, attentive, and always smiling. The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious each morning, with plenty of options to enjoy. The complimentary shuttle service into central Ubud made exploring very easy, and we found ourselves visiting the Ubud markets frequently. Returning to the calm of the resort after busy market visits was the perfect balance. The spa experiences in Ubud were unforgettable, and The Lokha provided a peaceful and comfortable base for everything we wanted to do. An absolutely fantastic stay — we would return in a heartbeat."

"An all around great experience. We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "

"The staff members are very kind and nice. Breakfast was wonderful. However, the room smelt bad with humility and is full of mosquitos. I had to ask for a plug-in repellent. The laundry came back clean but with a strong unpleasant sent of detergent. The spa was disappointing - not a bad price but the room was moldy and the massage wasn’t comfortable. Limited English communication - hard to ask for a different pressure. I experienced severe allergies due to the moldy room. Got sick by the time when I left. I will not return. This is a nice property for people who are not sensitive to the environment/do not have allergies. Not for me. "
