"We enjoyed the beach-pool area with restaurant and bar adjacent. We rented bikes from next door and road to a concert at the island amphitheater. The only minor suggestion would be to change the drawer and cupboard hardware. They were really difficult to open."

"The bathroom shower was so small, it ruined the entire experience for us. I couldn’t take a proper shower the entire week. I literally could not lift my arms up overhead without my elbows sticking out or hitting the wall, and the shower curtain stuck to your body the whole time since the shower was so small. And I was told this was an UPGRADE. If that’s the upgrade, what is the normal room like? There was no parking next to my room for guests due to it being a loading zone for jet skis, but it was apparently ok for workers to park there the entire time. So my view was an Ibis Bay truck - exactly what I wanted to look at on my vacation. The staff there all looked like they would rather be anywhere else. The breakfast was terrible. There was no hot food at all, and if you are a diabetic (as my husband is) your options were hard boiled eggs. Do you want to eat nothing but hard boiled eggs for breakfast every day for a week?? Overall I would NOT stay again. Oh and the Stoned Crab restaurant on site? What a joke! I paid $165 for two people for dinner and was not impressed at all. $40 for a Caesar salad with a grouper filet on top? The food was mediocre at best. I asked for towels and toilet paper and had to ask again for toilet paper 4 hours later. When I went to talk to management about it before we left, I was not treated well at all and was basically told too bad."

"The hotel has a wonderful location on the beach but is some distance from the bar and restaurant area. It is very expensive for the standard of the hotel at at $60 the resort fee is exorbitant as nothing is provided for it."

"Room was clean and nice. Be prepared for the wildlife surround the pool. (Chickens and Iguanas). One thing that I found out was that I caught one of the members of the cleaning staff peering into my room when I had the window cracked. "

"Great super clean resort. Room was beautiful. Not on the main Key West strip, but hourly shuttle that drops you off right there. Only issue was the lack of water pressure. Resort is becoming a Hilton property in a few months."

Parrot Key Hotel & Villas

"We unfortunately did not have a wonderful experience. We had a female waitress serve us at breakfast but after we concluded, the male waiter decided to come over and clear our table. He noticed that we were feeding the chickens during our meal and decided to go into great detail about all the “C*cks” roaming the place! Black C*ocks, White C*cks and even some Spanish C@cks. He let us know about the White C@ck he had at his own home. It was especially disturbing that he directed the conversation towards my girlfriend who I was on my first trip with. She was so upset that she wanted to leave the resort. I expressed our discomfort with the desk staff and was told a manager would be in contact. I was contacted the next day, being told an internal investigation would take place and they would let me know the outcome. Meanwhile instead of using anything the facility has to offer, we went elsewhere. We were there for 5 days and didn’t use any of the services provided by the resort. I received an email 3 days after we were gone apologizing for the horrible situation, saying the appropriate measures had been taken with the staff member. Our compensation for a ruined vacation = a 2 day stay on them in the future sometime. Doesn’t seem right to me! I don’t expect them to pay for my trip, but it would be nice if they took accountability for the issue we incurred. I don’t even want my money back! I just want.
