"It was all basically okay. There were a lot of people at the desk but only one or two seem to know what was going on. The cooling unit was iffy. If anything it would work sometimes wasn't sometimes and I didn't get any help with that and the elevator was out so I had to walk three floors up to my room which is also confusing finding the rooms there. But other than that it's a great location and a good place"
"Great place to stay! Just a shuttle ride away from the downtown and the beach. Our room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was good and the coffee was strong. Beautiful pool and great poolside bar. The staff were very friendly and accommodating "
"Our room had a huge gap around the door. We had to stuff towels under the door to keep it cool inside. The window air conditioner was close to the ground so the room had a hard time cooling. Our room was old and needed some updating especially in the bathroom and the deck leading to our room was rotting. The pool, breakfast and restaurant staff were amazing. The amenities were nice. "
"Booked here to spoil my girlfriend on her birthday and they were accommodating. Gave me a lovely room with a view right over the harbor. The room was clean and comfy. The available water bottles in the room and near the elevator were very nice for the resort fee. But the $40 valet fee I wasn't impressed with and here's why. I am a valet bellman myself, so I was excited to be on the other side of the experience. But when I pulled in, the valets didn't greet my car, they stood at their podium and talked and I was the only car there. I had to get out and walk up to them, and interrupt them. It didn't bother too much at the moment as of course I was in a great mood being on vacation and quickly told them I do what they do and am happy to be in Florida. They were nice, and I still tipped them well on all bell runs and car retrievals. But they should be approaching the car, greeting me and welcoming me first, especially at the price of valet and the hefty price of the rooms. Overall, it was great stay, just very expensive so you expect a level of customer service that matches."
"The resort is in an ideal location on Duval Street and the staff is top notch from top to bottom, whether it's the grounds keepers, the cleaning crew or the bartenders, they are all so pleasant, helpful, and make you feel like they are there just for you. The pools are a good time all day long with music, live entertainment, and an on-site bar and the walkability can't be beat. The rooms are clean and there are always plenty of towels. If I were to make any improvements to the property I'd put coffee machines in the rooms that give you the option to brew expresso or a regular cup of coffee. As there are numerous coffee shops just steps away, being limited to just expresso in your room is not an issue for me personally, but having the choice would be a nice to have. The air-conditioners work very well, but can be a bit noisy, but again, not a reason to not have the best stay possible. Newer smart tvs that would allow you to log into your Hulu, Netflix, etc. accounts would be a nice perk as well. The nice to haves aside, I would recommend this property to anyone. It's 5-stars in my opinion."
