"Apparently the hotel had some sort of flood overnight and when we woke up and went downstairs there was no coffee and the lady at the front desk was very rude. I understand if their was an issue overnight and it might have been very stressful but for the patron, they are still looking for a good stay and good customer service. In my opinion the issue could have been explained and obviously if coffee was not possible because of the flood or issue, then please explain and have some reciprocated compassion. But for us to be unknowing and come down expecting coffee and maybe just a pleasant interaction and explanation is not too much to ask for, especially for a paying customer. We have always enjoyed this hotel and feel like its a safe and comfortable and reliable place to stay when we are in the area. This was quite the disappointment this weekend."

"We had a pleasant stay at The Chifley. From the check-in to check out, the staff were helpful and friendly. I appreciated being able to check in to my room a little earlier and rest. I like that this is an all suite hotel which gives a very comfortable feel away from home. Conveniently located near The Galleria. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in Houston!"
