"We were disappointed in the quality of the hotel and in its cleanliness. The floor of our room was very dirty when we checked in. The walls were very thin so that when our neighbors got up at 3:30 am, we could hear every word of their conversation. And the hotel was located in a busy, noisy area - there was a group of men drinking around a campfire in the parking lot next door late at night that we could hear clearly. The beds were comfortable, but oitherwise, it was a disappointing stay."

"We have stayed at this property for 10 years due to it's proximity to family. It's an inexpensive hotel compared to the rest. Through the years we have seen the put in new flooring and painting, making this a better place. However, this year, we didn't even stay. Turned on the lights and the cockroaches scattered on the floor and about 10 on the walls. In the other room we'd reserved, there were about 15 in the drawers. "Food and customer service at Tides Coastal Kitchen was great! . The aesthetics of the hotel was nice, easy access to the beach, but didn't care for the front desk and staff customer service. I wouldn't rebook at this hotel again. "
