Top Sud - Muntenia Hotel Reviews

Radisson BLU Bucharest
6/10 Okay
"Continuous noise in the bathroom.
No replacement of water bottles.
Tv remote not working.
WC unfixed."

RIN Airport
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel, beautiful interior. Got a free shuttle bus to and from the airport."

PeakTure Hotel Bucharest
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed staying here for 48 hours.
Hotel is ideally located not far from the old town and just by metro and bus connections.
The team at the hotel were excellent, especially Vlad and Elena who were top for customer service.
Our room was great and you got a free bottle of water in the room plus four small bottles in the mini bar which were 2 x water, 1 x Coca Cola and one beer (free items not restocked in the mini bar, but it was still great to have this).
The buffet breakfast was perfect in terms of quality and range of things to eat.
Only small negative was that at the time we visited air con was not available (activated in April I think) so controlling the room temp was tricky.
Despite that minor issue, we highly recommend the Peakture - a great hotel, in an ideal location with excellent staff.
Worth noting that regarding getting to the Hotel we caught the 100 bus direct from the airport to just a couple of hundred metres from the hotel.
A bus trip is only about 53p and you can pay by tapping your credit card on the validator as you board. Make sure you do tap and the screen shows the card has been accepted as payment checks by ticket inspectors are frequent. "

Hello Hotels Bucharest
10/10 Excellent
"Great location particularly if you're travelling anywhere by train from the gara de nord station which is only a 5 or so minute walk away. Teodor was very polite and a great help to me."

The Mansion Boutique Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is in a perfect location right in the middle of the old town. Just walk out the door for lots of bars and restaurants up and down the road. The hotel was lovely and breakfast is included with all rooms. The hotel has its own restaurant on Italy theme open all nights. The staff were excellent. Two points to note (a) the hotel is in a pedestrian only street, so a taxi from the airport has to drop you off around the corner, it is then a few minutes walk to the hotel and (b) rooms do not seem to have showers they are all baths with shower handsets and surround curtains, seniors note!"

The Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection

" Very nice place"

JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel
4/10 Poor
"although i paid 3rd person fee to Hotels.com, Marriot receptions wanted me to pay this fee again and again.
This was not a good conversation for me.

Moxy Bucharest Old Town
8/10 Good
"We had a generally decent stay, with some definite positives and a few irritations. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded for free, which we appreciated. The location is very convenient and made getting around easy. The shower had good water pressure and didn’t leak.
That said, there were some drawbacks. Annoyingly, there was no safe in the room, which felt like an oversight. Worst of all, 3 out of the 4 plug sockets stopped working; we didn’t report this as we didn’t want an electrician coming in while we were out (due to lack of safe!), nor did we want to have to change rooms. Other reviewers mentioned street noise, and they weren’t wrong - even on the 5th floor, we could hear people shouting at night. The air conditioning is confusing to operate, and breakfast wasn’t up to much.
Overall, not a bad stay, but there’s room for improvement in a few key areas."
