"The room was large, clean and comfortable. The price of the room was great! The only deterrent is, you have to carry your luggage up a large flight of steps. But they tell you this many times, when you book. We packed a back pack for our over night stay. So going up and down steps was no problem.

"The hotel was nice and clean. I really liked the pool, especially since it was indoors. I went during the colder months, so that was a plus for relaxing. The breakfast area was very spacious, clean, and quiet, and the breakfast was very varied, tha staff were friensly."

"My wife and I stayed in a 1br/1ba cabin (#26) we only stayed for two nights, we will be back again, but will plan a longer trip for as far as we traveled. The cabin was comfortable and cozy, back looked into woods front looked towards the mountains and the sunset. Our cabin did not have a hot tub or outdoor heater, but did have a large deck and screened room off to the side with grill. Full kitchen including coffee maker in cabin. We did not eat at the flying trout restaurant at the lodge, but would have if we were staying longer, very convenient. Loved the atmosphere and the location relative to nature trails, scenic routes and the small town destinations of Blairsville and Blue Ridge and even Dawsonville and McCaysville will be on our itinerary for next time."
