"I saw lots of negative reviews for this hotel so was very nervous about booking but we’d been let down at the last minute with the accommodation we’d booked for our weekend away so booked the Ocean hotel and hoped for the best! I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised, yes the outside is a bit tired but the reception and bar area are lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed, even a fan and heater in the wardrobe for hot/cold weather, beds were really comfortable and it was much quieter than I expected it to be, we had a stunning sea view too, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again "

"The room I had was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff ver froendly and happy to help with any query. Breakfast was buffet style full English on offer, cereals, fruit, toast. Dinks tea coffee, and 4 fresh fruit juices. "

"Really nice hotel in a great location. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and good size. Breakfast was good but the service was slow and refilling of food was very slow. Seemed like they were understaffed for the number of guests."

"It’s a 3 star hotel that doesn’t pretend to be anything other. It’s clean. The food is good and the staff are very helpful. Despite the fact that the hotel was full the room was very quiet and we had a good nights sleep. It was really hot outside and the hotel staff provided us with a fan. Great place to stay"

"We very much enjoyed the upstairs pool, i believe there is a fee for the pool & jacuzzi on lower ground. Restaurant was lovely, polite and helpful staff. Our AC wasnt working properly, even when the gentleman came and fixed it, it wasnt really cool, but not an issue as was quite cool for june. If i were to share some constructive criticism, it would be a lovely touch to have a mini fridge in the deluxe & superior rooms! Finally, we were ever so grateful for the free noon checkout on the Sunday, that was very kind indeed, all in all a wonderful weekend break & I'm positive we will return soon! "
