Not many shops close by and centre of split is a good 20 mins taxi ride, busses are available but not used by us."

"It did not look like the pictures. The pictures showed it to be modern, bright and cheerful. It was not. The pots still had grease on them. No coffee pot. No coffee or tea provided or shampoo or shower gel. It was supposed to be near airport. It was not. It was supposed to have free airport shuttle. It did not. The immediate area was full of graffiti. The backyard was unkempt. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. "

"This property has good security and is very close to the beach, as advertised. My only qualms were that I couldn’t lock my balcony door, which was in the ground level. Also, my first night, my internet went out and there was no hot water left to shower. Overall, it’s a good value! I think both the issues were temporary & the balcony is an easy fix. "

"We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Tamaris. It is right on a small beach with sunbeds and umbrellas available but we were happy to sit on our patio and walk across to swim in the sea when we wanted to. The beach is clean but is gravel and thete are rocks in the sea so swim shoes are recommended. The room itself was spotless when we arrived and we had clean towels provided every day. We didn't cook but there is a hotplate, kettle and fridge. The wifi was being replaced while we were there...

"My room was very clean and quiet with great aircon and a fridge for food. Sandra was a wonderful hostess and checked to see if there was anything I needed during my stay. It was a great location as a very short walk to an amazing beach with great facilities for all. There was a small fast food bar a 2min walk away where you could get freshly made pizzas, burgers or sandwiches etc. supermarkets were also a short walk away. The bus stop was very close and cheap & easy to use to get into Split...
