"This was by far the best value option I found in Stratford for a group of six and it worked better than I could have hoped for a family group including two young kids. The living room area was more open plan than I’d realised, which was a bonus. Brilliant location - very central. The car park next door is handy with good availability, albeit not quite as competitively priced as Bodhi Cottage!"

The Townhouse

8/10 Good

"The hotel is a pub with rooms, fortunately our room was far enough away from the pub and behind double doors so we were not disturbed by the revellers and live music. Unfortunately our room was right next to he boiler room, and way too hot till we opened the windows and closed the door to the ante-room with the boiler. Tea, coffee, and free water bottles in the room were great. Cleanliness was OK, but I didn’t want to go looking in the corners. There was a broken air-conditioning unit on one wall with the front hanging off. The location was great, extremely central, and only minutes walk away from other historical points in the town. We didn’t eat at the pub, because it was fairly busy and noisy (but it did have live music!), and there are plenty of options nearby. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy at a nearby open-air public car park. Overall I’d stay here again, but check which room you’re getting."
