"I had a horrible experience here. I will say that the person that checked me in the day I came was extremely nice and helpful. From there it went downhill. I came in at midnight and noticed some things immediately. There was a large water stain or mold on the curtain over the air conditioner that was held together with duct tape. There was a large crack in the sink and the handle was coated in grime. There were rust and dirty spots all over the lamps. The bathroom door had a hole in it that looked as though someone had tried to punch through it. I could hear people out in the parking lot all through the night and there was a singular flip lock the door. The bed was clean, and the floors, but I did not feel safe staying the next two nights alone. Especially since they had a gated parking lot, but it stayed open, and anyone could drive in even if they didn't have a pass. These were just the main issues and I took plenty of pictures.
I called Expedia the next morning to tell them I didn't feel comfortable staying. They told me it was non refundable, but said they would try to call the front desk to see if they could get a waiver and they couldn't do much on their end. I do have an open claim with them right now. I ended up checking out the very next morning, and was told by the front desk that Expedia would have to give me a refund. I knew booking it that it wasn't going to be high end, but I could not stay there comfortably as a woman traveling on my own and feel safe. "
