"Beautiful Inn, great rooms, very clean amd found our room on the third floor quiet.
The hotel team are overall very friendly and helpful.
Great bar with nice selection of wines and cocktails. Restaurant food and wait staff excellent."
"Be prepared to pay for parking. Valet is $40 per night. Which is extra and very expensive in my opinion. You can park on the street between certain hours on weekdays. Street parking is free on the weekends. There is a private lot next door but it's expensive too and does not allow in and out privileges. Valet guys were pushy once they realized your not paying for valet. One was rude and told me to hurry up and not leave my car in front of the hotel. Which very clearly allows for 15 min parking.
Saturday the hotel pool was full of kids who had very poor parental supervision. The kids left garage/towels and horsed around for hours while the parents socialized and drank alcohol. I found that very disrespectful to other people trying to enjoy the amenities. One couple even left after being tired of being splashed by them continually. I would have left the pool to notify the hotel staff except I had my children swimming. So be aware of group teams on weekends. Kids playing and enjoying the pool is one thing. But loud rude groups of kids with no regard for others is totally unacceptable. Shame on the parents.
I don't know if I would stay here again. My kids did like the pool the second day. The hotel itself was very clean. The staff were very friendly. But I might book another hotel next time."
"Awesome experience very warm and cooperative staff Buffet breakfast is very good
I recommend to stay here
Suggestion for Management
Please keep water in rooms with regular refills that too free of cost because this is basic hospitality"
"Beautiful property with lovely history. One thing to be mindful of with a historic building is the layout, stairs, and walking involved to get to rooms. Our room was very clean and the temperature was just right. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of outdoor space to walk around and explore. It is a bit of a hike to get to rooms on floors 4-6. If you can’t do stairs, request a room on floors 1-3. Overall a lovely place to visit."
"The check-in was smooth and the room was clean. However, it took a long time for the water in the shower to get warm enough to use. Then, once in the shower, the water would periodically get cold then hot. This is a potential safety hazard."
