The rooms were very clean and tidy. Personnel friendly. We found parking both paid and unpaid very close to the hotel which was very convenient. It was safe to park the car outside. Complimentary water was provided on day 1, thereafter no refills. Breakfast was the most chaotic time of day, and overpriced for what was offered. Cutlery was always in short supply. A bigger room and a wide layout across the room would avoid the conjestion.

Great hotel near conference

Nice hotel near conference center. All was great, not the least the desk personell which also had good English. Nice restarant with great views and a bar on top of it. It was silent and the place for work is good. If I would wish for something more it would be the possibility to get a small breakfast with a coffee and croisant at the top floor. With a tram bus ticket it is ca 10-15 min to city center wth multitude of restaurants.

The hotel (and the rooms) was clean and convenient. The staff perfect in their roles. The breakfast, on the other hand, was a small disaster (too small, too crowdy and lack of a lot of products).

You can park for free behind the property or use the underground parking garage. Pharmacy next door. Entrance is better in back than the long ramp in front. Staff speak English. Very nice property. Very modern technology in room. Push button shower head! Large tv on wall. Fluffy but firm mattress. USB ports on wall next to bed.

AC Marriott Strasbourg stay

I am not sure what genius designer decided to create a hotel room without a separate bathroom. Basically if you like to perform natural bodily functions without a trace of privacy, then this is a hotel for you. This brand is supposed to be luxury, but I guess that's not the case in Europe. The sink is right in the middle of the room, which seriously cuts the living space. It's way too expensive for what it is

Nice and new but compact rooms.

This is a nice new hotel conveniently located near the Salle Erasme venue. Rooms are very compact with the bathroom integrated into the room layout (e.g., vanity sink in the middle of the room) and there is virtually no privacy using the shower and the commode. There is a frosted glass wall and door that separates these areas but again, virtually no privacy so this hotel is perfect for the solo traveler or couple that does not need inter-privacy. Staff was wonderful.

Very mediocre hotel

Honestly this is a very mediocre hotel. The worst thing about this hotel is the breakfast . My husband and I are vegetarian and we really struggled here. There is only three types of serial and basic bread as an option. There were salad present but when we found small pieces of ham had fallen into the salad ( I guess from the rest of guest using it ). There are around 7 staff present in the tiny breakfast area constantly “cleaning” or “filling” the breakfast up- it was very off putting to have them present right next to you throughout the breakfast. We complained to the manager and we’re reassured the next day we will have more Option. However this did not happen. The room was also badly designed with sharply edged chairs and furnitures . It was not a relaxing experience and there are far better hotels in Strasbourg that we will Opt for the next time we stay

It was a terrible choice of a hotel for us. We asked for a quiet room only to be put on a floor with a very noisy group booking and underneath the restaurant. Late into the evening there was scraping of the chairs and walking in high heels right above our heads, music. We had to change rooms in the middle of the night as even though we were told that the noise would stop at 23:00 it still continued. When we asked again why this was so, we were told that obviously there was tidying up after the last service and the noise would possibly go on for a couple of more hours. When we said if we could change in the morning, we were told that the available room might be sold to another customer and we would be stuck with the room just below the restaurant for the rest of the stay. The housekeeping is very poor. The floor was not wiped once for the whole duration of our stay. There is no real lounge, lobby. If a large group arrives and you are in the small area with comfortable lounge chairs by the entrance of the building, you are surrounded by luggage and people shoulder to shoulder. I would recommend that you choose a different Marriott in town. This is a very poor standard for a Marriott hotel.

Dommage pour le petit déjeuner

Superbe Ă©tablissement avec une magnifique vue au niveau du restaurant au 9 em Ă©tage et du rooftop magnifique. Chambre spacieuse ,calme et confortable avec une excellente literie. Le seul bĂ©mol vient du petit dĂ©jeuner car: Endroit trop petit par rapport Ă  la taille de l’hĂŽtel, on arrive pas Ă  circuler ni au buffet ni dans la salle Ensuite les produits proposĂ©s ne sont pas Ă  la hauteur du standing de l’hĂŽtel, beaucoup de bas de gamme, produits industriels, rien de local C’est vraiment en dessous des autres Ă©tablissements aux environs qui proposent pourtant des tarifs moindres.

À notre arrivĂ©e, les rĂ©ceptionnistes ont mis un certain temps Ă  trouver notre rĂ©servation et l'accueil Ă©tait plutĂŽt froid. J'avais contactĂ© la rĂ©ception quelques jours avant notre arrivĂ©e concernant le parking et reçu une rĂ©ponse, donc j'Ă©tais assez Ă©tonnĂ©e de cet accueil glacial. Pas d'excuse, ensuite quand la rĂ©servation a enfin Ă©tĂ© retrouvĂ©e. Dans une telle circonstance, on avait Ă©tĂ© mieux accueilli dans un autre hĂŽtel qui nous avait fait ses excuses et offert une boisson pour nous remettre de nos Ă©motions. Nos chambres Ă©taient conformes Ă  la description. Certes, il faut aimer le lavabo en plein milieu de la chambre et le bloc sanitaire laissant peu d'intimitĂ© (Ă©galement sonore), mais on le savait au moment de rĂ©server. Par contre, tout comme l'accueil avait Ă©tĂ© froid, le plateau de courtoisie n'a pas Ă©tĂ© rĂ©approvisionnĂ© d'une nuitĂ© Ă  l'autre, comme cela se fait gĂ©nĂ©ralement dans les autres hĂŽtels de ce standing. Le sol de la salle du petit-dĂ©jeuner Ă©tait trĂšs collante les deux matinĂ©es de notre sĂ©jour ce qui fait mauvaise impression. Quant au petit-dĂ©jeuner en lui-mĂȘme, il a fallu demander et attendre longtemps pour avoir de l'omelette. Les viennoiseries Ă©taient trĂšs sĂšches. Globalement, il Ă©tait cher pour ce qu'il Ă©tait. Quant aux points positifs, l'emplacement nous a permis de garer notre grand vĂ©hicule (1m97 de hauteur) dans la rue derriĂšre l'hĂŽtel, gratuitement, de visiter le Parlement europĂ©en tout en accĂ©dant rapidement au centre-ville en tram.
