"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "We stayed in Rose barn which was clean and spacious, had an open fire and hot tub. There are a number of barns on the site so this is a great destination for a family or friends get together. Close to the beach and a short drive from Bude. Dog friendly as well."

"A stunning property inside and out, we were warmly welcomed by the fabulous staff. Our room was beautiful, so spacious, clean. The staff could not do enough especially Steph who sourced some information on the history of the manor for me to read. The food was superb, lunch, dinner and breakfast were all lovely. We can’t wait to return in the future"

"Beautiful place in peaceful location. Nice view from our apartment overlooking the courtyard & mill pump, which we walked past on the way to the leisure centre & lake. Enjoyed a swim & sauna to top it off. Some areas could do with an update (& deep clean) but areas like the sauna had been updated (balconies on the todo list apparently, as we couldn't use). There's wasn't a restaurant or bar but a daily food van and Sun eve entertainment. But we were happy with our experience - Staff all very friendly and helpful. My mum loved her birthday getaway. Would return! "
