"This is my go-to place to stay twice a year when I visit Culpeper. The courtyard is nice for walking your dog although you can't count on others to clean up after their pet but regardless, the staff has always been friendly, the rooms have been clean, and they have been working on upgrading the rooms. There are better hotels in the area, but for the price, service and upgraded rooms, I would recommend especially if you have a pet. "

"The location is wonderful. Many extremely accessible view points and hikes which were a short drive from the area. Also many trails right on the actual property. They served a nice dinner to our family and breakfast as well. Very kind people who work here. I would recommend this place when you are visiting the area. The heaters in the room worked great and the showers were nice and hot too! Bed pretty comfortable as well! Overall, awesome!"

"We stayed in one of the suites like we do every year. The room is spacious and clean. Everyone that works at Mims is friendly and mind. Speakeasy restaurant is out go to ebery night. Breakfast at Circa is also really good. We love coming here every year. "

"Graves mountain lodges is cozy, down to earth and has plenty to do. An area rich in history and natural beauty with none of the commercialization of typical resorts. We loved our cabin stay at wild wind - a refurbished old school house along the river. Very peaceful and had everything you could need. Great location close to Shenandoah and Rapidan River. There are plenty of activities and we loved the farm animals and the ability to hike around the grounds. The only critique would be that the bathroom heater didnt work so it was quite cold in that room. Food is a bit pricey for what you get but we liked the dedication to sourcing locally. We would definitely reccomend and would go back! "
