"We had a pleasant stay at Hyatt Place Kunming, and overall, it was a positive experience. The service stood out. The staffs were consistently warm, friendly, and welcoming, always ready to assist whenever needed. Breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of options that were both satisfying and enjoyable. It was a great way to start the day. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Kunming South Railway Station, which was very convenient and made traveling much easier. That said, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The shower water pressure was quite low, which affected the overall comfort. In addition, the hotel WiFi was rather unstable. We experienced frequent disconnections, which was inconvenient. Overall, it’s still a good stay thanks to the excellent service and thoughtful amenities, but addressing these issues would definitely enhance the guest experience further."

The Room: I stayed in a Premier Room with panoramic views of the lavender fields and iconic red-brick sculptures. The interior was chic and modern, with a minimalist yet cozy vibe. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the bathtub overlooking the landscape was the perfect touch of luxury. Service: The staff were the highlight of my stay—attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. From check-in to check-out, I felt genuinely welcomed. They even provided great recommendations for exploring the art village! Food & Drinks: The breakfast spread was divine, with a mix of Chinese and Western options, all fresh and flavorful.
