"Check-in was a problem, as the place was locked up when we arrived. No answer on either of the phone numbers we were given. Eventually, with the help of a neighbouring property, they managed to track down the relevant person, who then unlocked and showed us to our room. The units was very beautiful, with a lovely view and gave a Greek island feel. Breakfast was served earlier on our request, but was rather on the skimpy side in my opinion."

"We loved the hotel and its location. Our rm #7 was great with its nice bathroom and terrific deck with lounge chairs. We had an outstanding meal at their restaurant, Blue, and a terrific snack of sushi and oysters at The Oyster Lounge. Highly recommend Tje Abalone!"

"Superb location for ‘ either side’ of the beach, with path directly onto the beach. Delightfully peaceful, with easy access to local restaurants. Staff very helpful in locating places to visit. I can thoroughly recommend Bay View Guest House. "
