The property staff was amazing as were the delicious breakfast buffets. The interior room was quite warm and I wasn’t able to get the control to cool down the room. This made sleeping difficult. The rooftop bar was wonderful. Great location in Slussen!

Great rooms

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Scandic. The room was larger than expected, and any issues that we encountered during our stay were quickly sorted out by the friendly staff. Location-wise, it was within walking distance of the old town and had easy access to buses and the metro.

If you want to check in before 4 pm, they charge you 25 EUR. And when you arrive at 1 pm, they smile into your face saying: oh your room is ready. And you feel kind of happy for a second, but then it goes: but if you want to go to your ready room you have to pay again. The roof top bar is nice. But not nice enough to male up for the rest.

Great hotel - nice large room with balcony. Room was very hot - fans needed or Air Conditioning. Made for some uncomfortable sleeping conditions, since deck door wasnt possible to keep open all night long due to proximity of neighbours smoking on their decks. Liked the neighbourhood for restaurants, walks and shopping.

Not Worth It

The pictures are completely different to the actual room. It was very dirty and small. When asking for a cleaning service and for an extra bed to be made, no one came so I had to make the bed myself, but then I left and came back to the bed being undone, no fresh towels or duvets as requested; made no sense. Some of the front desk staff during the day were very unhelpful when helping. You have no view, and it’s not in a great location, there are better hotels. The breakfast is also limited for vegetarians. Overall, depressing and disappointing stay, don’t bother booking here.

Location was great and hotel room was good for myself and two kids. Only disappointment was that for the first few days we could connect the laptop via a cable and watch our own content, but the system updated through our stay and it was not possible after that. The roof top bar was excellent and staff very friendly.
