"Had an issue with the TV, I couldn’t turn it off. Had to get staff to come in and unplug it by removing a drawer. But other than that, it was a fine stay!"

Holiday Inn Express Hotel Burnley M65 JCT10 by IHG

"Arrived just after 10pm feeling tired but was given a warm welcome by staff. Allocated room 218. Room was perfectly adequate for my one night stay. Clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included which was a bonus. You just self serve everything and it’s all very relaxed with lovely food. Would I stay again - yes! Would I recommend- yes!"

The only downsides were that I couldn't use the kettle because it wasn't completely clean. I opened it and looked inside, and there was some dirt in it. The outside wasn't clean either. Another issue was the hairdryer. You have to keep pressing the button to dry your hair, which was really tiring. As there was no air conditioning, the room was heated by the hotel, but it was slightly cold. If I hadn't brought enough clothes, I don't think I would have had a good night's sleep. Overall, it was a good stay, but there is room for improvements."

The Skipton Hotel

"Stayed here several times now. Our room this time was clean but very tired and needing updating. Had dinner and breakfast in the newly renovated dining room which is lovely. Food good and reasonably priced. Lounge bar is always a great place to chill or meet people. Staff all very helpful as usual. Lovely walks either way down the canal towpath."
