"The Colessio has great location (Just a short walk up to Stirling Castle), it has great staff, a nice bar and a reasonable breakfast. Like most places in Scotland, the breakfast could benefit from something other than sliced white bread. There are dark breads, full grain breads, full grain crackers (try breakfast in Norway) but they don't seem to come to Scottish hotels.. Nevertheless, in addition to the buffet there were cooked-to-order items such as Eggs Florentine and Eggs Benedict which were excellent. The room had all we need, it was at the back of the building with a view which was not memorable. I guess I need to learn that "King Deluxe" means "View of a Parking Lot." The room was baking in the sun, but fortunately the windows open so you can eventually cool down. (Blazing sun and hot temperatures are not on the list of things that travelers to Scotland usually write about). All in all, a positive experience."
"The breakfast quality was below expectations, particularly the eggs and bread, which were not good. The staff were inconsistent; some were very helpful and friendly, while others were not. On one occasion, a staff member even declined my request for water. In addition, the laundry service was confusing, and the hotel does not offer dry-cleaning services."
"My room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The two meals that I had in the restaurant (a breakfast and dinner) were both very good. The only criticism that I have, which is not the fault of the property itself, is that it's located in a somewhat "blighted" area i.e. surrounding buildings not well maintained and full of graffiti."
"Il y a un supermarché juste à 3 minutes à pied. Idéal pour un retour d’Edinburgh en bus pour prendre l’avion le lendemain. Il y a je crois, une navette possible à partir de 6 hr le matin seulement…"
"The most convenient location for airport travel situated only a few minutes walk from the terminal. Surprisingly given that proximity to a busy airport, no noise from jets was detectable and thus we had a great night’s sleep in a comfortable, well-appointed room. Staff were also universally polite and helpful, and the breakfast offered an array of appealing options. Lack of direct USB charging outlets in guest rooms was inconvenient, and the patchwork tile with failing grout, blobs of silicone caulk and black mould suggest both the quality and frequency of maintenance should be stepped up a notch, but all in all a delightful stay."
"It was a short walk from the train station and a nice modern hotel. Very clean. Close to the shopping district and lots of restaurants. Try the Turkish restaurant on the next block. Delicious!"
"This is one of the best plances we had stay. Comfortable, quiet, newer well equipped and most important: clean!
Easy access to the train station, walking distance to sights, restaurants and bars.
Friendly staff"
