"The Gualala Country in is a real gem. I am a 78 yr old woman traveling alone and felt extremely safe. Upon entering the room on arrival, I felt like I was a guest in a friend's home. "Perfect little get away for our anniversary. Room was clean, but had a weird smell in the room, but we opened the windows and it went away. We had the Starlight room and it was beautiful, overlooking the water. There is no patio or personal balcony for this room but it was still perfect. We stayed for 3 nights, and there was plenty to do all around. Starlight room has utensils, cups, plates, a fridge and microwave. "
