"We really liked this hotel. It was very clean. It started with check-in by a really nice, friendly lady at the desk. Our room really nice. The bed was too hard for me but perfect for my husband. No surprise there. It seemed like a new hotel. I'm not sure how long it has been there. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay there."

"Had an unplanned layover in Portland while getting repair work done on my Sprinter Van. An employee at Outside Van recommended McMenamins Edgefield and really glad I chose this place. Unique lodging experience and fabulous dinner and breakfast at the pub and restaurant in the main lodge. Much better than staying at a chain hotel! Would have liked to take advantage of the billiards, but didn’t have anyone to play with. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the Portland area!"
