"A bit disappointed that the water park wasn’t set up for the kids as this was something we went into the weekend looking forward to. But besides that, we had a blast at the pool and hot tub. The lifeguard on the dock was lovely and we got to use the canoes, paddle boat and water trampoline. The fire pit at night was also a nice end to the day. we left a very sentimental earring there passed down by my grandma on the bedside table and when we phoned, the front desk said it was there. When I emailed, they said they actually did not have it. So this too was disappointing. We are still looking to hear back from the cleaners to see if one of them have it. We were in room 52. We will definitely be back though and look forward to it."

"Included breakfast was nice. Unique set up with pool adjacent to the dining area. We didn't use the pool but liked that set up. I think that front desk could have told us about stairs at back of property entrance and more strongly suggested using the elevator from the dining area to access the accommodation at the building at the back via level ground. We were 3 seniors and struggled with the stairs."

"A newer hotel and so it is spotless and has awards for its outstanding cleanliness. Staff at breakfast were delightful and helpful and attentive. Front desk was efficient and friendly. Would stay here again!"

"We were on the first floor near the bar which we could hear the nightly music and or karaoke. If you prefer a quieter stay, I would recommend a room further away. A wonderful stay other than that. Beds were terrific!"

"The staff were great. The food at the restaurant was great. This is my 3rd time at Tappattoo in 12 years. It’s a really nice place to stay and relax. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a fan in the bathroom. Just a thought; put some signs up near the beach/grass area stating, Please do not disturb the geese and goslings. I witnessed a grown man chasing and harassing the geese and goslings."
