"It is a lovely hotel with all its spa facilities. Room was very comfortable. Staff very helpful. However, it does not have a central bar area where you can just relax with a drink. I will stay there again next week but I will be looking for another option in the Friesland area."

"This place was a beautiful hotel with a great restaurant and super friendly staff. Room was big and beautiful and when i asked to be moved to the first floor for easy access for me and my bike they happily obliged. All around lovely place would highly recommend. "

"At first glance a very strange experience at what seemed an abandoned roadside hotel. After a couple of minutes we were greeted by the host though, and from here everything was smooth. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and freshly cooked meals. "I stayed 2 nights at this hotel while my husband and I visited Papenburg. The staff were professional and helpful. The hotel itself is austere but clean and bright. When I was there, the hotel's clientele were mostly older customers and their adult children.The hotel had a calm atmosphere and there was little to no noise on my floor. The rooms were a good size and had a ton of outlets and USB ports to charge your phone. The only thing that I didn't like about my room was the mattress. I found it to be very hard. The best aspect of my stay was the breakfast. So much food and non-dairy milk for the ceral. I just loved it! "

"Arrived at around 9:45pm and struggled to gain entry but eventually a grumpy member of staff answered the bell and immediately told me I was too late and check in closed at 8:30pm. He recanted eventually and rudely told me where to park in the overgrown unkempt car park next to an apparently abandoned car and close to two residents on plastic chairs apparently enjoying an evening spliff. Having despatched the large spider on the wall above the bed to the spider heaven above I settled down for the night resigned to the fact that my 6:30/am departure would preclude me from the 7:00"
