"This hotel was so beautiful. The bed was comfy and the water pressure with the waterfall shower head was so good. The buffet breakfast opened at 8am and was so yummy! The hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the port in Naxos and is within walking distance to all the restaurants and cafes you could want. The water on the beach was so clear and beautiful. We stayed here in late May and the water was cold but refreshing after a long day!
The hotel also had its own shuttle service for an extra fee that was very convenient!!"
"The Saint Vlassis offered a most wonderful stay in Old Town Naxos. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the edge of the shopping and restaurants. A bakery and popular Greek grill are between the hotel and town. The atmosphere is tranquil and quiet, and lovely. Konstantinos"
"From the moment of arrival to the day of departure the staff at the Grotta Hotel were superb! They offered transfer to and from the port, an incredibly delicious and freshly made spread of breakfast foods, and the spa amenities were a lovely little bonus. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, as were the rest of the premises. Our only wish is that we had stayed longer! "
"It’s the worst hotel I had so far for my Greece in May 2026: the hotel address from Expedia is totally wrong. I tried to text the host from Expedia platform but never got any responses back. So when we followed the Google map to the location, there was no hotel there. We were there going no where and asked all locals. Eventually one nice lady went to google to find out hotel’s phone and called the host. After couple times we got connected with the host and was picked up by a nice gentleman man. What happened was very funny: first night at 12 am there was no hotel water. Texted both front desk and the host but no response. Then next morning no WiFi. The front desk said it was electrical issue and they were asking technician to fix it. The funny thing was the hot water issue happened again and this time the front desk had no excuses to lie about it. The host never responded my second water issue. Because the walking distance from hotel to the ferry port is over 20 minutes instead of around 10 minutes, I asked the front desk to arrange a drop off service for us but told we had to pay it. I explained to the front desk that if we knew it was over 20 minutes from the port, we will never pick the hotel so asked him to double check with this manager/owner. Finally he said the drop off service was free. So overall experience was very bad SO DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Its information is false and they have WiFi and hot water issues."
"I have nothing but good things to say about our time at Makava! Everything was impeccable…. From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out. The room was clean, stylish, spacious and comfortable. The attached patio area was lovely to sit on with a glass of wine. The upstairs roof top lounge / hot tub area was perfect to relax after a long day of exploring Naxos. The staff were friendly, professional and quick to respond to any questions/ requests. The location was wonderful! 10 minute walk from the centre of everything yet it still felt like we were in a more local / less touristy area. Free parking lot off to the side of the building.
Highly recommend Makava and will definitely stay here again if our travels take us back to Naxos"
"I loved my time at the Anatoli. It's very clean and welcoming! The room was wonderful and the bed was more comfortable than I have at home. Breakfast was delicious, with different options. Laundry service was available and extremely convenient. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. They assisted me in renting a vehicle from a local company. Great stay! "
