The hotel is not near any convenient things and there is lots of road construction going on around the hotel area. Our room was ok but nothing special. Would stay closer to Stavenger.

All great. Excellent hotel. Note that there isn’t much around it, short walking distance, other than Equinor offices, a small supermarket and a sushi place. Public transport to airport 20 min walk, but taxis come within minutes, but are much more expensive. Staff and facilities are excellent.

Worth a look in Stavanger!

It is a business hotel, so as long as your expectations are in line, you should be OK with this property. The service is good, the restaurant has a very good breakfast, and despite a limited menu in the evening, served a nice meal. I found the staff were friendly but not intrusive there were no maintenance issues.

breakfast was good. no Activities in the hotel, so very boring. And I was very worried about the smell of the carpets; it looked like they hadn’t been washed for a long time. That's why I give it three stars. Probably won’t come again.

Kedelig Scandic-standard

Mit længste ophold hos Scandic har varet de fire nætter jeg brugte hos Scandic Forus. Værelset fra frygteligt varmt da jeg ankom - 24,7 grader, lige i overkanten. Fik skruet ned og luftet ud til 21,5 grader - men ved den indstilling værelset frygtelig fodkoldt, så det var ikke helt nemt at finde et godt niveau. Spiste en enkelt gang aftensmad fra restauranten på værelset pga sygdom - men den ganske korte tur fra køkken til femte sal, og måltidet var trist og kedeligt. Der er oplæg på værelset der opfordrer gæsten til at spare på vandet mens der børstes tænder. Der kan spares op til 10 liter pr tandbørstning! ..Det klinger dog hult, når det varme vand til badet er mange, mange minutter undervejs!

Renhold og belysning

Hotellrom, fint og rent på rommet. Men fryktelig dårlig belysning. Leselampen var helt nedtil madrassen. Umulig å lese. Det besste lyset var over toalettet og dusjen. Er ikke akkurat der vi trenger mest lys, men derimot over speilen.

Fine rom, men bare i gangene som røp og ropte hele kvelden begge kveldene vi var der. Vi var ogsp ute å så ifra. Barn blr virkelig ikke bo på rom alene å få lov til å rope å løpe rundt uten noennforestatte i mange timer... dette var i 4 etasje i nærheten av rom 469. Vet noen av barna bodde på 478 og 473 da vi så de gikk inn på de rommene. Ødela vår opplevelse av ro på hotellet
