Even though it is near to Oxford centre, the house and garden are very private, down a quiet lane Everything was spotless, and the kitchen island was a great place for the family to prepare meals together. "Terrible experience neighbour knocking on thin walls no tv or music but still caused upset in stay as walked into room once knocked door and asked when leaving hotel? Everyone paid for room invasion of privacy and I’m single mum with 6 yr old in room. No security or cameras to verify just friend few doors away called reception."

"The property was clean but scruffy. A bit run down. The room was basic and comfortable. Bed comfortable. The bathroom was too small. My husband is 6ft 2. He struggled to sit on the toilet. Knees against the shower screen. The shower wasn't enclosed enough, the water leaked on the floor. The breakfast was good, basic cooked and continental. We weren't aware of the parking at the back of the property but we managed to squeeze into a parking space at the front. The property is 25/30 min walk to Oxford city centre. Which suited us."

"It was a comfortable bed but lacking in other areas. After seeing the picture of the hotel it was disappointing to find our room was not in the main hotel but the garden Annex. This was an unpleasant looking concrete building detached from the hotel and quite a walk in poor weather. Also we were left with only one 2 even though it was a booking for 2. Also we were convinced that we had chosen the package with breakfast but it turned out this was not part of it. So I cannot comment on the food. "

"Good room - sheets, towels, bed, lighting etc fine, nice decor, spacious. Excellent shower. hotel has no restaurant, bar, sitting room, gym or other facilities beyond the room Room was missing many small essentials appropriate for this class and price level hotel eg, no fridge, no coffee maker, no conditioner in shower, no bathroom vanity kit, no wine glasses or nice drinks tumblers, and for a hotel without any restaurant or bar, no snacks or minbar items available at reception. These things are all easily fixed cheaply, and should be. Staff do not greet guests when they walk past reception - noted multiple times."

"We had a really lovely spacious room with a little patio and outdoor seating. The bed was very comfortable, lovely clean bedding, and the bathroom was spotless. Very nice toiletries. We decided to have dinner at the last minute which was really very nice. Nice river walk into the centre of Oxford rather than walking along the main road. The only negative was having to pay £25 for parking! "
