"What a wonderful and conveniently located hotel with the added bonus of an attached excellent restaurant and bakery. Even more exceptional was the extra effort they took to mail a forgotten stuffed toy that had been left behind :) Priceless!"

"Stayed for two nights while hiking in the area, and had a great stay, It was very convenient to the National Park. The rooms are basic (no television etc), but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant was good and breakfast was included, which was great. Hard dinner one night, it is all buffet style and was fine. Would stay here again if in the area."

"I stayed in the shared accommodation area, so had a small room with two beds and a common bathroom and kitchen. Room was small, but fine, and the kitchen is very well equipped. I ended up using the refrigerator to store some breakfast supplies, as I had an early morning hike planned. I was a bit worried about a shared bathroom, but it worked out fine, and the facilities are very nice. The spring fed hot tub was great after a day hiking, as was the natural cold plunge. I ate at the restaurant the night I arrived, and the meal was excellent. Would definitely stay again."

"Prices in Iceland are high. This was comparable. Nicely appointed. Clean and comfortable room. Liked the kitchenette. Plates and settings. Microwave and refrigerator. Pictures did not represent the room. Nicer! Restaurant was very good! Family enjoyed the food- prices again are high in Iceland but well thought out ingredients and taste. Comparable pricing. Big drink selection. Caution. No elevator. 3 flights of stairs."

"The check in went smoothly with the app/website instructions they give, the room was very basic and pretty small but very clean and well maintained! Overall a good place to stay for a night on our road trip, but wouldn't be somewhere I'd stay more than a night or two as the room was very small. We didn't have any face to face interactions with staff but they left lots of notes/instructions around the place for how to get in touch with them if needed, they also left a voucher for the coffee shop in town which was a nice touch!"
