Hotels near Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum

"We did a late check-in, tired after almost 15 hour drive, and the concierge seemed detached, first name Fabio. I had the regular questions and concerns anyone might have at a first encounter with a hotel, but all I got back was a doubtful, blank glare. Also, the security guard was standing a bit too close to me and my companion, it was very uncomfortable. The room was not Hilton quality at $250usd a night. It was very dusty and there water stains on the bathroom floor. The additional parking fee, $37 per night, was ridiculous. I've never paid to park at a Hilton. Lastly, I requested a pull-out bed, asked the gentleman who delivered it to lay it down as it was heavy for me. He said that the room service would do it once they came. Low and behold the room service did nothing - left it exactly where it was and didn't even put the sheets on it. By far, the worst stay at a Hilton ever. I highly recommend a thorough review and inspection of this Hilton."

"Water didn't get hot and water was brown."

"I have no complaints! The staff was really nice and welcoming. The room looked great. The bed was so comfortable. The smell in the hotel was amazing!!! The only thing I would say is the continental breakfast was 👎. I only was going for coffee anyway but there was very very limited selections for people who do actually take advantage of the breakfast. Other then that, I have no complaints!"

"Good choice for old town!"

"The property was a very nice, quaint hotel that was well situated, with a good amount of available street parking. We had a large corner room with a very comfortable bed. A restaurant was conveniently located just off the lobby, that served us a large, delicious country breakfast. The price was affordable and well worth the money. Since I usually stay in a chain hotel this was a delightful change. I will definitely stay there again."

"AKA was a perfect quick stay. The hotel staff, including the wonderful Marvin at checkout, was professional and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. While I traveled solo, it is a perfect hotel for families. I look forward to returning in the future."

"I realize it’s not The Four Seasons, but there is a certain expectation that gets set when one is paying over $350 a night for a hotel room. This hotel did not meet it and it was the only time I have ever asked for a different room (and I have traveled a LOT). I was given a large dark corner room (it had only one tiny window), which might not have been as much of a problem, except that all of the lamps in my room flickered eerily. The air-conditioner was not working properly - it took three hours to cool the room 3° and sadly smelled faintly of onions (typical of mold in an hvac). The tub faucet was pulling out of the wall and there was peeling paint and wallpaper in a number of corners of the room and bathroom. I could also feel the springs in the mattress. Honest to Pete, it was like a bad movie. A local shopkeeper I was chatting with told me the room might’ve been haunted lol. On a positive note, I received excellent service from all of the staff at the hotel who really went out of their way to help me. Also housekeeping did a very good job cleaning the rooms. It is certainly a great location, but it is a shame to see such a beautiful building being poorly cared for (the hallways weren’t bad but the elevators were in poor condition). It is likely I would only return to the hotel as a last resort."
