"Room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. We found the restaurant on site to be pretty good and the cafe was nice to have for a morning coffee. Pool area was clean, and honestly you can't beat a hotel right on the beach! Overall great experience and would stay again!"
"A lovely property - not fancy but comfortable clean rooms, well-maintained with everything we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff, and very good food. A note for North Americans - outlets are 220v so bring power adapters. A fun location to see the comings and goings of the marina, with a nice, very quiet pool. We are looking forward to staying again on our next visit."
"From a local, Stonetrail is the best place to stay in the Indian Bay Area. From myself, this place is really great. I really like seeing a clean place with excellent customer service. Check-in was lovely and the staff has been so kind, gracious, and simply pleasant to be around. They are in their own league and I believe other resorts and islands in the Grenadines(I won't name them) can take some pointers from the staff, grounds maintenance, and amenities provided to guests whether they are visiting the island or are residents, you can't beach the walk to the beach which is separate from the property. I consider that a positive as it decreases the potential foot traffic that is seen in some of the other resorts. With the resort being smaller there is better quality compared to neighboring resorts."
"Pros: The staff were fantastic - the night security guard helped us find a taxi driver when we didn’t receive a response from the front desk, the restaurant was delicious, the balcony and views were beautiful, the room was clean upon arrival and the AC worked well
Cons: The location is right by the highway and the walls are paper thin so any noise permeates the whole building. We heard every phone call, conversation, text notification, dog, horn, or other noise at all hours. No one was particularly loud either; there is simply no noise insulation. The plumbing is very unreliable; multiple toilet clogs with only liquid in the bowl and the shower water was lukewarm at its best. No towel refreshes, we ran out of toilet paper, no covers aside from a top sheet and small blanket at the foot of the bed. I acknowledge that we were here during NYE and was warned that the reception would be closed, but was also given a WhatsApp number to contact if we needed anything. I received no response to the messages I sent to that number or to Hotels.com messages. We would stay again if it was the last option available, but wouldn’t otherwise. "
Sandals St. Vincent and the Grenadines Couples Only
10/10 Excellent
"The arrival at the resort was already an experience with singing and drinks. The room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. ALL the staff was super friendly and helpful in all places. The restaurants were nice but very inconsistent. One day everything was great, the next day the buffet food was cold. The food in Butch’s was excellent but we didn’t like the atmosphere- felt like an airport lounge and very loud. For the hype we expected it to be more intimate. The food in Gatsu Gatsu was good but needs more explanation because the portions are very small and tgey should tell you to order multiple for a platter and a full meal. We definitely like Scrimshaw - great food, nice atmosphere and wonderful staff.
A few minus : the small beach gets very crowded when cruise ships are in because it’s a public beach and then people stand in front if you and put towels and chairs in front if the Sandals loungers.
We had a photo shoot for our anniversary and I was waiting 30 min ( and a second call) for an urgent missing hair dryer ( told them we had photo appointment) and then the free photoshoot was quite disappointing- at first he forgot his memory card and then he rushed through some different locations- not much Direction on doing some posing, no correction of hair, dress etc and at the end you are buying 10 pictures for 180 US$ , barely edited ( had to correct on my own) and half of them against the light and overexposed- not professional at all. "
"The location, staff, and environment were all excellent. Mr and Mrs Browne invited us to lunch with their family on Christmas Day. The front desk and hisuse keeping were excellent, they were very mindful👌 "
"Highly recommend whether you're passing through or staying a little while - great, caring, kind service at all hours of the day. I spent a little over 2 days here, kind of stuck without a my belongings & everyone was so kind & understanding with me. They even had a soup waiting for me when I arrived even because of the incredible late delay from the airline - too kind! For breakfast, the omelet is very good if you want to pay for it otherwise the continental is good. Cannot recommend the seafood boloñesa enough! So good!! Dinner can be a little pricey, but you can use the light menu items as well. Thank you to everyone on staff, highly recommend this place "
