"Great stay. Thoughtful details. Lots of charm. Comfy beds. Excellent location. Friendly staff. I was a little concerned when I read "continental breakfast" (thinking "carbs only," which is not great for me), but it was much better than expected. There were egg bites, yogurt, and breakfast bars with protein. Clementines and apples. Special coffee machine with lots of options and higher quality coffee than the average machine. I was there for a business trip, but when I return with my family, I will choose this location for all of these things, especially the better breakfast. One less thing to think about and it sets us up well (and earlier) for a day of exploring."

"The room was clean and the bed was too soft for me and my wife but we are in our 70’s and a firmer bed is an item we need. We would like to know if the room is on the second floor with no elevator and very steep stairs and no platform to stand on when you climb 15 steps with luggage. They did not have another room for a suitable switch. It was probably my fault because I didn’t specify certain needs."

"I forgot my wedding ring in the room, and I noticed it about two hours after I checked out. I called the hotel, and they said nothing had been returned from my room. I explained where I might have dropped it, and one of the staff members went to check, but it was not found. Other than that, everything else was good."

"They were going through renovations so i understand some dust etc. When we got in the room we noticed blood spots on the chair and just covered with a towel. Don't walk on floors without shoes. We went to dinner. We had been driving all day and wanted to stay by the lighthouse. We got back from dinner around 10pm, exhausted. We had 2 queen beds, my cousin and myself. I pulled back my sheets and there were blood stain spots all over my sheets and hair. So I slept with my cousin in her bed, we were too tired. Decided to turn on the TV. Did not work. Would i stay again...after the blood stains on sheets...most likely not"
