"The Wyndham Grand Clearwater is a beautiful, very clean hotel in a great location. Our room was spotless, and the daily housekeeping service was much appreciated. The lounge chairs and umbrellas included with the resort fee were a wonderful perk. We also upgraded to a cabana, and for the small additional cost, it was absolutely worth it. Most of the staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive. The only downside was that the front desk staff occasionally seemed less welcoming or interested in assisting guests. Be aware that a 19% service charge is automatically added at the restaurants, pool bar, and breakfast buffet. We did not find the breakfast buffet worth the $35+ per person cost, especially with the added service charge. Fortunately, there are plenty of excellent breakfast spots within walking distance. A special thanks to our pool bar server for recommending The Bait House. The Drunken Shrimp was delicious, and the restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip. Located right on the marina, it offers great service, beautiful views, and a fun outdoor atmosphere. Also note that valet parking is the only parking option available. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, location, beach amenities, and comfortable accommodations."
