Dog-friendly

I chose the property as they allowed dogs and from that perspective it did not disappoint. There was a fenced yard with an outdoor dining table and a fire pit. The decor was nice—very beach-y. On a less positive note, there was only 1 bathroom for a house advertised as sleeping 6, and no indoor dining area. Fortunately we had good weather, so made use of the outdoor table.

The home was very clean, the owners were easy to contact and stayed in touch until the day we checked in. They also arranged our early check-in which was very helpful. However, one small note: we were at the beach one of the days and someone must have come by to mow the grass in the backyard and since we had two dogs staying at the home with us (which they knew about since we paid the pet fee), it was a little surprising they had someone in the backyard during our booking. Luckily our pets were in their cages inside the home, however I would be very upset if I had chosen to have them wandering the yard and them be let out by accident. Or if I was was to be relaxing in the patio and to have a stranger let themselves in the backyard. Would have been more professional if they arranged to mow their lawn when they didn't have paid guests staying on their property. Either than that it was a good stay, rooms are clean, modern and we had all the amenities we needed.
